Kuni Nani

 
The immediate elder sister of Niyati is Kuni Nani and so has a closer bondage. Married to Sri Prafulla Mishra who after reirement from Government job has settled down at Bhubaneswar. 

Savitri Senapati

 
Overtly affectionate and loving this woman is still very beautiful even in her mid-fifties. She goes on working for others from dawn to mid-night for others managing the huge Senapati Kitchen in Balasore and also taking good care of the emotions of family memebers and friends and relations. 

Chhua Nana and Bhauja

 
Chhua Nana and Bhauja are the centre of my Balasore connection. Around them the 7 sisters move and so also Niyati and so our family. A very affectionate Bhauja and sensitive Chhua Nana make up good friends and good hosts. 

Benudhar Senapati

 
The next of Niyati's sibs has lived most of his life in Balasore town house of his Zamindar father and has been stubbornly supporting all his 7 sisters althrough. Now retired from Goverment job Chhua Nana now spends most of his time visiting holy places along with his wife (Bhauja) and sisters and visiting Mumbai often for health reasons where his daughter Lipi is working.A amn of good taste, he loves to do all menial jobs in his house even if it involves physical strain and keeps his house tasteful and decorative with his modest means. 

Shashadhar Senapati

 
He's called Bada Nana by Niyati. When as a group, a few of us- Niyati's classmates first visited Niyati's ancestral village Seragarh where her father was the last Zamindar, Bada Nana greeted us with a sumptuous feast way back in 1974.As the Zamindar's eldest son he still remains a Zamindar in mind and spirit and always treats all his guests lavishly even today. A great lover of poetry this man still lives in the old haveli of his ancestors with his wife(Nuabou) and family of his youngest son Chiku and keeps good and meaningful relationship with his wide relations. 

Nirada Nani

 
Nikunja Basini Senapati retired from active service almost 8 years back as Circle Inspectress of Schools from Govt. of Orissa and has settled with Prema Nani almost to the life of a hermit.Her frugal life style although her life depicts her personality though her uprightness in some matters makes her distant from some relations, she has resolved to live with some ideologies and can't make any compromise. A great admirer of truthfulness and honesty she loves people who also live for others. 

Sunya Nani and Manu Gain

 
Sunya and Manoranjan Pati are a couple who have often visited us. Kati, their second son stayed with us at Rourkela for about 5 years in eighties and ninties and made them coser to us which in turn made Balsore more close to me.I simply adore this couple who have gone through many ups and downs in life and still never say die. May God give them long life. 

 
Sunya Nani is the fourth of Niyati's sibs. When we going through a very low ebb in our Balasore connection she was one of the strong advocates and facilitators of rebonding. With her husband Manu Gain and sons Babula, Kati, Bapi and Muna all all showing examplary love for their Mausa and Niyati Mausi and many other factors it was possible to get back the Connection I am proud of.Sunya Nani has now aged and finds it difficult to walk and work but still manages to send Pita Gama and other delicacies for her Chhua. 

Prema Nani

 
The next in line of Niyati's sibs is this woman Premamoyee Senapati and the whole family has revolved around her for the last 50 years even when the late Zamindar Gangadhar Senapati- Niyati's father was alive. She is still centred for amajority of the family of the Senapatis and not only commands respect but also is held at awe by adversaries. 

Santu Nani

 
Shantamoyee Senapati nee Santu Nani is Niyati's 2nd eldest sister next to Bhala Nani. She played a great role in getting Niyati back to her base at Balasore when her mother fell sick in 1986. The varied experience of hers is put to solid use by many relations including Niyati and family.
